Hi, I’m Ramon Collazo 👋
(You can also call me Raymond)

I’m an aspiring DevOps Engineer currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, with a technical background in Electronics Engineering and also in Electrical Engineering. This blog is my personal learning space, a place where I document what I’m studying, building, breaking, and improving along the way.

My engineering foundation started in the physical world: circuits, signals, power systems, and hardware-level problem solving. That background shaped how I think, methodical, systems-oriented, and focused on reliability. Over time, my interests shifted toward software, infrastructure, and automation, where those same principles apply at scale.

Today, my focus is on:

DevOps fundamentals and best practices

Cloud infrastructure and automation

Linux systems and networking

CI/CD pipelines and platform engineering concepts

Security, reliability, and resilience in modern systems

This blog isn’t meant to present me as an expert, it’s meant to be honest. I write posts as I learn, translating complex topics into clear explanations, notes, and practical examples that help me solidify my understanding and (hopefully) help others doing the same.

I believe learning is most effective when it’s shared. By documenting my journey, from theory to hands-on implementation, I aim to build strong technical foundations while growing into a well-rounded DevOps engineer.

If you’re also navigating the intersection of engineering, software, and infrastructure, you’re in the right place!
